My real estate career began in 1973 when I obtained my real estate brokers licence from the State of Connecticut. During those earlier years I was active locally in real estate both as a broker and as an investor. I was employed by Aetna Life & Casualty for over 20 years where I worked for Aetna Realty Investors Inc., the real estate investment subsidiary of Aetna Life & Casualty. I am currently a real estate broker/realtor associated with Rachel Thomas Associates of Essex, Connecticut.
Over the 40+ years I have been a resident of the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound shoreline, I have listed and/or sold many properties with an emphasis on waterfront locations in Essex, Old Lyme and Fenwick, Connecticut. I have designed and built residences in both Essex and Fenwick and have invested in residential as well as commercial properties along the shoreline. My knowledge of the shoreline real estate market, coupled with my experience in investing and building, helps me to better understand the needs of my clients and guide them through whatever direction their property search takes them.
I currently reside in Essex, Connecticut with my wife and children. I was a summer resident of Fenwick, Connecticut for over 27 years. I have served on many local Boards such as the Essex Land Trust, The Lynde Point Land Trust, The Steamboat Dock Foundation and the Board of Trustees of the Oxford Academy in Westbrook, CT. I am a member of the National, Connecticut and Shoreline Board of Realtors.
